  Water Bailiff’s Lodge was wonderful, and Wendy was the perfect host!
  The cottage is very well equipped, and there are many extra touches like a very generous welcome pack and plenty of logs for the fire. The cottage is very well-situated on the edge of Matlock, with a lovely pub within easy walking distance.
  We were a party of six, and the accommodation was perfect for us – a master bedroom with a king size bed, a double and a twin room, and two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other a jacuzzi bath.
  Waking up in the morning to the sound of birds, and planning a lovely walk in the Peaks, and then returning to a cold beer, supper around the kitchen table, with the log fire burning in the living room, and reminiscing over a glass or two of wine was perfect.
  Highly recommended!
